According to Iranian state broadcaster IRIB, 1,500 vessels are waiting for permission to cross the Strait of Hormuz from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

“On frequency 16, all vessels hear this sound; “This is the Persian Gulf, get permission to cross the Strait of Hormuz.’”
