ISLAMABAD, July 4: A meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Sports is to be held sometimes next week to discuss the dismal performance of the Pakistan hockey team in recent years.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, the Patron of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) will preside over the meeting following a suggestion put forth by the committee.

The officials of PHF and members of the committee have been told to be on stand-by for the meeting which will take place at the convenience of the Prime Minister at a short notice.
