Five hurt in clash

DADU, Sept 30: Five people were injured in a clash between two groups of Solangi and Mallah tribesmen over a matrimonial matter in the Marakhpur Mohallah here on Saturday.

Firearms, clubs and axes were used in the clash during which constable Ghulam Shabbir, Muhammad Moosa Solangi, Ayaz Hingoro, Mazhar and Mashooq were wounded. The injured were admitted to the Civil Hospital. The Dadu town police registered an FIR against six people from both the groups, and arrested four of them.

SUICIDE: Rehmat Khatoon, 19, daughter of Ali Nawaz, committed suicide by taking pesticide over domestic problems in the Mulan Khararo village near the Phulji town on Sunday.

Girl kidnapped: A girl was kidnapped by three armed men over a matrimonial dispute in the Sehwan town on Sunday.

Muhammad Kamil, with his three accomplices, barged into the house of Babar Khoso, held his family members hostage at gun point, kidnapped his daughter, Lela Khoso.

The Sehwan town police have registered a case against the alleged kidnappers.
