China, Hong Kong stocks end higher on US-Iran peace deal hopes

China and Hong Kong stocks closed higher, led by artificial intelligence and tech shares, as risk sentiment improved on hopes of a US-Iran peace deal, Reuters reports.

China’s blue-chip CSI300 Index and the Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.5 per cent each. Hong Kong’s benchmark Hang Seng was up 1.6pc.
