Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a message on Teacher’s Day, said: “If we are witnessing scenes in the defence of our country that astonish the world, we owe it to the teachers who have taught our children faith, sacrifice, humanity and love for Iran.”

“The future of Iran will be built through unity, compassion, and forgiveness,” he said, adding that “the hope of Iran lies in the children you are raising”.
