Misbah predicts tough tour

LAHORE, July 1: Pakistan 'A' team skipper Misbahul Haq has said that the forthcoming tour of Australia was a real test for the boys as it comprises of ODI, four-day and Twenty20 against tough 'A' teams of New Zealand, India and the hosts.

Misbah, who replaced Hasan Raza as skipper said that his team was strong in all departments of the game and it would give a tough fight.

The team is scheduled to leave for Australia on late Saturday night and will return home on July 28.

Pakistan will start the tour with a one-day game against India at Gardens, Oval ground on July 6.

Pakistan will play a four-day match against Australia at Marrara Stadium from July 11 to 14 while India will be meeting New Zealand in other four-day match at Gardens, Oval on the same dates.

Pakistan will also play a four-day game against New Zealand at Frebwell Park from July 17.

On July 22, Pakistan will play a one-day game against Queensland at Cazalys before meeting Australia in a Twenty20 game at the same ground on July 23.

At Cazalys, Pakistan will also take on Australia in a one-dayer on July 25 and New Zealand on July 27.
