LONDON, July 1: Ivory Coast midfielder Didier Zokora has joined Tottenham Hotspur from French team St Etienne, the English Premier League club said on Friday.

The 25-year-old played in the World Cup in a tough Group C.

“Didier was regarded by a lot of people as one of the best midfield players going into the World Cup and he proved that in the group stage,” said Spurs manager Martin Jol.—Reuters
