LAHORE, July 1: City police claimed to have seized 8kg heroin worth Rs80 million and arrested 74 criminals at pickets on Friday and Saturday.

The police stopped a rickshaw at a picket in Nolakha and recovered heroin from the luggage of commuter Hashim who belongs to Balochistan. During interrogation, he revealed that he had brought it here for sale. —Staff Reporter
