A fire has broken out at the RAF Fairford airbase in the United Kingdom’s Gloucestershire, which was being used by the US in the war against Iran, UK-based The Telegraph and Gloucestershire Live report.

Several crews of emergency services were deployed to tackle the blaze in the early hours of Sunday, The Telegraph said, adding that no injuries have been reported and no RAF aircraft have been damaged.

“The extent of damage to the US air force is currently unknown,” it added.
