Open court held to address traffic issues in Balochistan

QUETTA: An open court was held on Wednesday to address traffic-related issues in the provincial capital, where SSP Traffic Mirza Bilal listened to citizens’ complaints and issued directives to the officers concerned for immediate resolution of the problems.

Addressing the gathering, the SSP announced a crackdown on encroachments and illegal parking, stating that indiscriminate action would be taken to improve the flow of traffic in the city.

He said that modernising the traffic system in Quetta has become an urgent need and that practical steps are being taken in this regard. He also appealed to the provincial government to increase the strength of traffic staff to ensure effective traffic management in the city.

SSP Bilal urged citizens and drivers to follow traffic rules, cooperate with traffic personnel and maintain a civilised attitude.
