One of the three French soldiers who were wounded in an attack last week against UN peacekeepers in Lebanon has died of his injuries in France, where he had been evacuated to, French President Emmanuel Macron has said in a post on social media platform X.

Another soldier was killed in the attack, which Macron has previously blamed on Hezbollah.
