Israeli strikes have hit several towns in Lebanon’s south in recent hours despite a 10-day ceasefire in place, Al Jazeera reports citing the country’s official National News Agency (NNA).

A drone targeted the vicinity of the Litani River in the town of Qaqaiyat al-Jisr, without immediately reporting casualties, NNA says.

An NNA correspondent in Tyre, meanwhile, has reported a bombing in the town of Shamaa.

Another correspondent in Marjayoun reported that Israeli forces carried out a bombing in the town of Taybeh, as well as between the towns of Al-Qusayr and Al-Qantara.
