US President Trump dismissed suggestions that Iran could impose restrictions or levy tolls on vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, saying there would be “no way” such measures would be allowed.

Responding to a question on the issue, he asserted that ships would not be subject to fees, adding that “there’s not gonna be tolls”.
