Maritime tracker MarineTraffic reports that the first passenger vessel, the cruise ship Celestyal Discovery, has crossed the Strait of Hormuz since the war broke out in February.

The tracker says that the Malta-flagged vessel departed Dubai on April 17 after remaining docked for approximately 47 days, having first arrived in early March.

“According to MarineTraffic data, the ship crossed the Strait of Hormuz … today and is currently heading toward Muscat, Oman, with an estimated arrival on April 18,” the tracker says. “Reports indicate the vessel is sailing without passengers.”
