Former foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has called the opening of the Strait of Hormuz a “constructive move” by Iran.

“It has brought huge relief for global markets and augurs well for regional peace/stability. Let’s hope this signals a path toward lasting de-escalation. Hard work,and deft diplomacy by Pak leadership paid off,” he said.
