Trump tells Nato to ‘stay away’ from Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump has said that upon receiving a call from Nato offering assistance with the Strait of Hormuz situation, he “told them to stay away, unless they just want to load up their ships with oil”.

“They were useless when needed,” Trump adds, calling the alliance a “paper tiger”.
