Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has commended Islamabad for its role in mediating and establishing a ceasefire in the US-Israeli war on the country, according to state-run news agency IRNA.

According to the report, in a meeting with Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, the Iranian president said that Tehran is committed to achieving lasting peace and stability in the region while pursuing the Iranian nation’s rights within the framework of international law.
