Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has said “all the strategic targets and strategic capabilities” of Iran have been hit by US-Israeli strikes, “and if necessary, we will return and do so”, Al Jazeera reports.

Speaking at a memorial ceremony at the ministry in Tel Aviv, Katz says Iran is at a “historic crossroad” and has urged the country to choose a path of “stability and reconstruction”, or otherwise face one that “leads to an abyss”.

“One path leads to renouncing the path of terror and nuclear weapons and choosing a future of stability and reconstruction, as proposed by the US,” he says. “The other path leads to an abyss from which the Iranian regime will not be able to escape.”
