ISLAMABAD: Leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad have started consultations on preparations for the upcoming GB elections. For this purpose, a high-level delegation of the PML-N from Gilgit-Baltistan met federal ministers Rana Sanaullah and Engineer Amir Muqam and discussed different aspects of the elections.

The meeting held detailed consultations on the overall political situation, organisational matters, and future electoral strategy in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The delegation included former chief minister Gilgit-Baltistan and President PML-N GB Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman, General Secretary Akbar Taban, and former GB Minister Engineer Anwar.

During the meeting, the party leadership emphasised strengthening and further activating the organisational structure of the party across Gilgit-Baltistan.

It was agreed to field strong, capable, and popular candidates in all constituencies, while accelerating and streamlining the election campaign.

The participants also agreed on expanding public outreach efforts and ensuring active participation of party workers at all levels to enhance campaign effectiveness. The federal ministers assured full cooperation, guidance, and support in connection with the election preparations.

Rana Sanaullah and Engineer Amir Muqam reiterated that the party would continue to advance its agenda of development, public service, and prosperity in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The meeting concluded with a resolve that PML-N would contest the upcoming elections with a well-organised, vigorous, and effective strategy.
