Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, and Turkiye’s National Defence Minister Yasar Guler have called for “solidifying” the two-week US-Iran ceasefire.

In a post on X, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said that during the meeting, the two sides “discussed the latest developments in the region, particularly those related to the ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the necessity of solidifying it to strengthen security and stability”.
