The Associated Press news agency is reporting that Pakistan has proposed hosting a second round of negotiations between the US and Iran in Islamabad in the coming days, before the end of the ceasefire, according to Al Jazeera.

The agency cited two Pakistani officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The officials said the proposal will depend on whether the parties request a different location.
