British High Commissioner Jane Marriott has reshared a social media post by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, expressing gratitude for Pakistan’s role in bringing the US and Iran to the negotiating table.

“Thank you, DPM/FM, as the [British] prime minister says, the UK is appreciative of Pakistan’s efforts in bringing parties together, helping lay down the conditions for a ceasefire while also furthering talks in the hope of a lasting peace,” Marriott has said on X.
