US President Donald Trump has spoken to the media about the situation with Iran before boarding a plane to Washington DC, Al Jazeera has reported.

He said the US’s planned blockade of Iranian ports will be “very effective”, and claimed that “other nations” are working with the US to help stop Iran from selling oil.
