Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss US-Iran talks in Islamabad, Reuters reported, citing the Russian news agency Interfax.

Putin is reported to have said that Russia is ready to continue facilitating a settlement in the Middle East.
