State broadcaster PTV reports that direct talks between Iran and the United States have commenced in Islamabad, with both parties sitting “at the same table”.

According to PTV, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar expressed hope that the talks would progress in a positive manner.
