LAHORE, June 27: The elections of the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) have been delayed after several appeals against scrutiny of clubs were received by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The elections were supposed to be held on Wednesday after the PCB appointed scrutiny committee declared 113 clubs as genuine.

But as many as 30 appeals had been filed by different clubs, which had been declared inactive by the scrutiny committee.

The last date of filing appeals is June 28 (Wednesday).

The PCB will announce its decision against the appeals next Monday after which the schedule of the elections will be announced.

So far the group headed by Aamir Hayat Khan Rokri is in the field to contest the elections.
