Canada’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Anita Anand thanked Pakistan for its sustained efforts in establishing the current two-week ceasefire.

She also reiterated that Canada is “ready to support these discussions”.

“We agreed on the importance of the ceasefire holding and extending to Lebanon, and of remaining in close contact as the discussions progress.”
