Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations has criticised US President Donald Trump’s extreme threats against his country, after he warned that “a whole civilisation will die” if Tehran does not accept US war demands, AFP reports.
“The president of the United States again resorted to language that is not only deeply irresponsible, but profoundly alarming,” says Amir Saeid Iravani, adding that the comment “openly reveals his intent to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity”.
