Saudi Arabia’s defence ministry says air defences intercepted and destroyed seven ballistic missiles launched towards the Eastern region, adding that debris from the intercepted missiles fell near energy facilities, Reuters reports.

Authorities are assessing potential damage, the ministry has stated.
