Four officers of the Iranian army ground forces were killed on Sunday in operations meant to counter US aircraft, the Fars news agency has reported.

The officers were killed in Isfahan, the province where Iran shot down a US F-15E fighter jet on Friday, leading to a daring rescue of a stranded airman over the weekend.
