The US president says he has “many alternatives” as the war against Iran drags on, Al Jazeera reports.

“We could leave right now and it would take them 15 years to rebuild what they had. We could leave right now, but I want to finish it off,” Donald Trump has said.

Iran has repeatedly denied seeking a nuclear weapon despite repeated claims from Trump and other top US officials.
