The Israeli military has ordered the evacuation of residents from seven neighbourhoods in the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, Al Jazeera reports.

Spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a post on X that the Israeli military would continue to attack “Hezbollah infrastructure” throughout different parts of the southern suburb.

Al Jazeera’s team on the ground reports hearing Israeli jets in the skies above Beirut.
