The UAE’s defence ministry has said its air defence forces have intercepted nine ballistic missiles, a cruise missile and 50 drones coming from Iran.

No casualties or injuries were reported in the past 24 hours, it added.

Since the start of the war on Feb 28, the UAE has intercepted 507 ballistic missiles, 24 cruise missiles and 2,191 drones.
