The US military is expected to deploy “stealthy” long-range missiles for military operations in Iran, Reuters reports citing Bloomberg.

“The next steps in the US military campaign against Iran will commit nearly its entire inventory of stealthy JASSM-ER cruise missiles, drawing them from stockpiles devoted to other regions,” Bloomberg reports.

The Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile-Extended Range (JASSM-ER) has a range of 1,000 kilometres and carries a 1,000-lb warhead, according to manufacturer Lockheed Martin.
