Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, have discussed the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts in a phone call, according to the Foreign Office (FO).

During the discussion, both sides underscored “the importance of dialogue and de-escalation”, the FO has said on X, adding that both top diplomats agreed to remain in close contact.
