Former Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has urged his country to “declare victory and make a deal that both ends this conflict and prevents the next one”, Al Jazeera reports citing a major article published in Foreign Affairs, the US-based publication.

Zarif, who was the face of Iran’s negotiations with the US and other nations over the country’s nuclear programme for several years, outlined what he described as a blueprint for Iran to end the war with the US and Israel on terms favourable for Tehran.
