Wall Street stocks have added to gains after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country had the “necessary will” to end the war with the United States and Israel, depending on conditions, AFP reports.

Near 1720 GMT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 2.1 per cent at 49,164.55. The broad-based S&P 500 gained 2.5pc to 6,503.08, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index jumped 3.6pc to 21,533.15.
