Lebanon’s Islamic Message Scouts Association has said five paramedics were killed in an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon earlier today, Al Jazeera reports, citing the National News Agency.

The group named the victims as Adel Atef Qaddouh, Hussein Ali Darwish, Hassan Moussa Nour El-Din, Ali Hassan Jahha and Ibrahim Zaher Abu Zeid.

In a statement, the association said they were “martyred while performing their humanitarian duty in the aggressive raid on the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiyah today”.
