BAHAWALPUR, June 24: Under the directive of President Gen Pervez Musharraf, an underpass costing about Rs30 million would be constructed near Bahawalpur railway station.

According to UC nazim Zubair Mehmood Channar, work on the project would be started soon.

Kidnapped: A lawyer was kidnapped and tortured by four people near Dhobi gate area on Saturday.

The police said Advocate Zulfiqar was hearing a petition against the accused. He was removed to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital.
