The Israeli military has said that it is striking targets in the Iranian capital Tehran, shortly after it announced a salvo of missiles had been fired towards Israel by Iran, AFP reports.

“Initial report — the IDF has begun a wave of strikes targeting infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime across Tehran,” the Israeli military claimed on its official Telegram channel.
