The UAE’s defence ministry has said the country’s air defence systems today “engaged five ballistic missiles and 17 UAVs launched from Iran”.

“Since the onset of the blatant Iranian aggression, UAE air defences have engaged 357 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,806 UAVs,” it added.

It said a total of eight individuals — two personnel and six foreigners — have died so far, while 161 people have been injured.
