The chief of the United Arab Emirates state energy company ADNOC has slammed Tehran’s actions to block the Strait of Hormuz after US-Israeli strikes – a move that squeezed supplies and caused a surge in oil prices, according to Al Jazeera.
“Weaponising the Strait of Hormuz is not an act of aggression against one nation,” Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber said.
“It’s economic terrorism against every nation. And no country should be allowed to hold Hormuz hostage.”
