Israeli forces have intercepted a “limited number of missiles” launched from Iran, with shrapnel falling in the northern city of Safed, Al Jazeera reports citing the Channel 12 broadcaster.

The attack set off alarms in northern Israel, including the city of Haifa, and caused no injuries or property damage, Channel 12 reported.
