HARIPUR, June 23: Two people reported to be father and son, were killed while two passersby were seriously injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a welding shop on the Chappar Road here on Friday. The welding shop was destroyed and two adjoining shops were partially damaged.

Tariq Khan, SHO, City police, said that the explosion was so severe that the man and his son were shredded into pieces.
