Canada is increasing security around US and Israeli embassies and consulate buildings in Toronto and Ottawa after a shooting incident at the US consulate in Toronto, a Canadian police official has said, according to Reuters.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police chief superintendent Chris Leather says the consulate shooting is being investigated as a “national security incident”.
