Ishaq Dar visits Iranian Embassy, extends condolences over assassination of supreme leader Khamenei

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has visited the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad and signed a condolence book on the assassination of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to the Foreign Office (FO).

“He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the Iranian nation, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the brotherly people of Iran in this moment of immense national grief,” the FO has said in a post on X.
