The spokesperson for Qatar’s foreign ministry, Majed Mohammed Al-Ansari, has asserted that the Gulf country “has not been part of the campaign targeting Iran”.

“We are exercising our right in self-defence and deterring Iranian attacks against our country,” Ansari said on X.
