US State Department urges American nationals to ‘depart now’ from over a dozen Middle Eastern countries

The US State Department has urged American nationals in 15 Middle Eastern countries to “depart now” due to “serious safety risks”.

In a post on X shared by Assistant Secretary of State Mora Namdar, the countries listed are:

  • Israel, the West Bank and Gaza
  • Jordan
  • Kuwait
  • Lebanon
  • Oman
  • Qatar
