US claims it has hit more than 1,250 targets in first 48 hours of Iran war
The United States has hit more than 1,250 targets in the first 48 hours of the war against Iran — up from more than 1,000 during the first day of the conflict — AFP reports citing the US military.
Targets struck included command-and-control centres, ballistic missile sites, Iranian navy ships and submarines, and anti-ship missile sites, according to a fact sheet released by the US Central Command, which is responsible for American forces in the region.
