There are reports that intermittent shelling along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohmand district continues.

It has also been reported that helicopters and jet aircraft were seen flying in the sky as part of stepped-up aerial surveillance.

Authorities say no “major casualties” have been reported as a result of the cross-border firing.
